My take on a track from a little known band out of Denton, Texas called Slobberbone. Brent Best and his song writing has been a big influence on my music for the last 20 years. 25 years ago I was playing with my band at the Ottobar in Baltimore Maryland. When the singer from the band Circle 9 came up to me after our set. He said "you guys sound like Slobberbone!" No clue what he was talking about. I am thinking what the hell is a slobberbone and why would you name a band that? A few years later picked up their release Everything You Thought Was Right Was Wrong Today. Absolutely brilliant album from beginning to end. They have been one of my favorite bands since. This is a cover of lead track from that release, Meltdown. Thank you for watching!
Social Distortion - Story of My Life Hanging out on the tailgate playing guitar and singing some tunes. Still struggle with the vocals so hope I don't offend your ears. But I have fun so f*#@ it! Thank you for watching!
A lover of all kinds of music especially guitar based rock and metal. But it all leads you back to the blues at some point. Desperadoville Stratocaster with 920D Custom Loaded "DG" Pickguard.
Been playing guitar for too many years for my skill level. Trying to make up for all of the lost hours I should of been practicing. I quit drinking a few years ago and have replaced all the time I spent with a drink in my hand with a guitar. A few years of dedication has really made a difference even if there is a bum note or two in there. I am thankful I am still able to play and grateful for anyone who has taken the time to listening to even one note of my music. Thank you. A short instrumental dedicated to those who are no longer with us. Every life worth living has had a bum note or two.
After watching the Kentucky Derby started playing around with this one and decided to give it a go. God I love this song and the Stones. Some of the early Jagger/Richards tracks can't be touched.
It ain't me, it ain't me, I ain't no fortunate son, son

My introduction to Tom Waits via the Ramones. A song my band covered and always a favorite to play. Here's my take warts and all. No edits or overdubs.
A song I have been playing for many years. I originally heard it covered by Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards. Have not played it for a number of years. My memory is not the best so I messed up some of the words but here is my take on it.
