Operating out of Scaring The Dog Studio, C Michael Price a one-person powerhouse of original composition. Every track is a solo effort—vocals, instruments, and production are all handled personally, unless a rare collaboration is noted.
The sound is a grit-heavy fusion, ranging from classic blues to driving hard rock, with clear nods to punk, country, and alternative influences. It is music born from a unique visual and sonic psyche, delivered with raw, DIY authenticity.
Scaring The Dog Studio: Where Analog Grit Meets Digital Precision. My creative journey began with tube amps and 4-track cassette tapes, but a lifelong career in Information Technology made the jump to digital art a natural evolution. Since entering the world of DAWs in 1999, I’ve been fusing old-school analog soul with modern technical mastery.
